What is a Diploma in Electrical Engineering?

Electrical engineering is one of the best undergraduate programs in Engineering. The field of Electrical engineering is related to the study of application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism.

What is the difference between a diploma in electrical engineering and B.tech in electrical engineering?

Electrical engineering is the course where students get the knowledge about the application of electromagnetics, electronics and electricity.

B.Tech in Electrical engineering is the course where students get the knowledge about the field of Electrical engineering related to the study of application of electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism. Trained Electrical engineers design electric circuits and the tools that they work on are large power plants as well in small hardware companies. Main Difference between both the courses is eligibility criteria and their course duration.

What are the responsibilities of a diploma in electrical engineering?

There are many roles and responsibilities in the field of electrical engineering. Some of the most important responsibilities are given below :-

  • Design the electrical device as per consumer needed.
  • Develop and test the electrical devices.
  • Navigate the system.
  • Supervising or training project team members.

What is the duration of the electrical engineering course?

The duration of the diploma in electrical engineering course is 3 year which means 6 semesters are involved. Electrical engineering is approved by the All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE). One semester out of the eight has practical training in the live environment and other semesters have academic sessions. In each academic session, there are approximately 6-7 electrical courses of Engineering subjects in each semester which students have to qualify to attain the Diploma (electrical Engineering) Degree.

Is electrical Engineering a good career option?
